Hey, Maybe It's a Mandate

I'll tell you upfront that there have been some major discouragements for us this week. But rather than dwell on that, we'd rather share with you the quiet storm that's brewing that reminds us of this wonderful adventure that God has called us to. As we ask the individuals who give their hard-earned money to support our ministry if they'll stand beside us through the changes brought on by Pat's illness (changes which only broaden the scope and potential impact of what we do), the response thus far has been overwhelming. Here are some of the comments we've received:

"We think it’s great that you’re able to shift gears and serve God."

"We have been praying for you and for God's leading in your next steps. I was with Jim O'Neill [president of CrossWorld] this week and he told me how thrilled he was with the beautiful way in which you have handled this trial God has allowed to come into your lives. I am excited by the possibilities of what God could do thru this new direction for your ministry."

"Looks good to me - praise God!!!" -- Looks good to us, too!

"Obviously God did not change his mind. He is only allowing Himself to be more glorified through you in other ways."

"May the Lord be with you in this process. I'll be praying for you." -- Though this last one is not from someone we've met, it has a special meaning for us because it is from a Christian publisher, in France. Tres cool.

And, we've got two fun pieces of info from CrossWorld headquarters this week on the subject of videos, but they're worth a separate post. You'll just have to stay tuned.

We will.

And shout-outs this week to: THOSE STANDING BESIDE US! We're in this for the long haul and glad you are, too. We love you all!
