Here we are!

Bon Soir! (Good Evening) We have arrived safely and are now resting in our hotel, which is just south of Notre Dame Cathedral. (Short history lesson: When France was more of a Christian nation, all mileage was calculated as if Notre Dame was 0 and counted from there) The famous University “The Sorbonne” is right across the street from our hotel room. (But let’s be fair, it is Paris and everything is near something famous and unbelievably old.

The art work seemed to have made it through fine (THANKS to all that were praying for that), even though one box was opened in security inspection, (I haven’t opened them to see if they are okay, because it would be a huge hassle and nothing I could do about it anyway).

Our boss, Paul Mattson arrived shortly before we got back from a walk around the city, and tomorrow we will be meeting Jim Biese, with La Foundery. We are hitting the Musee D’Orsay before hand.

We walked around Notre Dame, (closed this late) and showed Joe the outside of the Louvre. We saw musicians, dancers, and a huge Rugby gathering with a jet fly over trailing red and blue smoke, and several hundred people rollerblading down the street in one mass group. That was very cool.

Thank you for all of your prayers and help getting us here. God is good all the time.

The pictures are of Kevin resting in bed after a long sleepless night, and Pat standing in front of our hotel window. More to come, stay tuned!
